HORSE TRAINING AND RIDER COACHING
Ken specializes in helping "problem horses" and their owners who
care. He also takes the important lessons these horses teach him
and applies them to starting colts so they won't become problem
horses.

Coaching is part of the training so riders have a better
understanding of what their equine partners have learned.

Coaching can also be provided to boarders or on a haul in basis.
One on one or small groups.

Ken's style is different from most - he helps people understand the
anatomy and basic psychology of their horses so they can learn
why their horses do what they do.

We do not have a 'normal' lesson program as there are many such
facilities in the Edmonton area. Our focus is helping people who
want to know more than just how to go around an arena. We do
have a few horses that can be used to help riders begin their
equine experience or experience some coaching when hauling is
temporarily a difficulty.

All breeds, discipines and ages of horses accepted, but be
prepared to have your current way of thinking about controlling your
horse questioned and challenged.  It doesn't mean what you
already know is wrong, just that perhaps you have never really had
to think about it before.
Outdoor board only.  Indoor riding arena.  2 outdoor riding arenas.
Access to over 200 acres of undeveloped land for trail riding. Short
term board available for vacations.
Haul in occasional arena use is also available by appointment only.
Paints, pintos, quarter horses, part-arabs, warmbloods and grades are all available. Other
breeds on occasion.  From weanlings to experienced.
We have an unusually generous trial arrangement, to ensure our horses are well matched.
